Spectator Effects in Heavy Quark Effective Theory at O(1/m3Q)

متن کاملHeavy Quark Effective Field Theory at O(1/mQ). II. QCD Corrections to the Currents
We present a calculation of the renormalized heavy-light and heavyheavy currents in HQET at order O(1/mQ).

We show how heavy quark effective theory, including 1 MQ corrections, may be matched onto dynamical quark models by making a specific choice of Kμ,m and vμ in the pμ = mvμ + Kμ expansion. We note that Wigner rotations of heavy quark spins arise at O(p2/m2) in non-relativistic models but at O(ΛQCD/MQ) or O(velocity − transfer) in HQET and so are necessary for a consistent treatment. متن کاملApplication of heavy-quark effective theory to lattice QCD: I. Power Corrections
Heavy-quark effective theory (HQET) is applied to lattice QCD with Wilson fermions at fixed lattice spacing a. This description is possible because heavy-quark symmetries are respected. It is desirable because the ultraviolet cutoff 1/a in current numerical work and the heavy-quark mass mQ are comparable. Effects of both short distances a and 1/mQ are captured fully into coefficient functions, ...
متن کاملFactorization analysis for the fragmentation functions of hadrons containing a heavy quark
Using methods of effective field theory, a systematic analysis of the fragmentation functions Da/H(x,mQ, μ) of a hadron H containing a heavy quark Q is performed (with a = Q, Q̄, q, q̄, g). By integrating out pair production of virtual and real heavy quarks, the fragmentation functions are matched onto a single nonperturbative function describing the fragmentation of the heavy quark Q into the ha...
